What Tab Tamer does

Tab Tamer is a Chrome extension that helps you sort, group, search, and close browser tabs. All operations happen entirely within your browser.

Data collection

Tab Tamer collects no personal data.

Specifically:

• It does not read, store, or transmit the content of any web page you have open.
• It does not collect your browsing history.
• It does not send any information to any external server.
• It does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking of any kind.
• It does not require a login or account.

Permissions used

Tab Tamer requests two Chrome permissions:

Permission	Why it's needed
tabs	To read tab titles and URLs (displayed in the popup only), and to move or close tabs on your request
tabGroups	To create and disband Chrome native tab groups on your request

These permissions are used exclusively to power the features you see in the popup. No data leaves your device.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
